At the center of the firm’s practice is Edward H. Williams II, a litigator whose career spans elite “Big Law” defense, federal clerkships, and boots-on-the-ground civil rights advocacy.
Before founding the boutique, Williams practiced at three of the country’s most prestigious law firms: Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, WilmerHale, and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe. There, he managed complex commercial defense, high-profile investigations, and sensitive crisis management matters.
His background includes:
- Federal Clerkships: Serving on the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
- Clinical Leadership: Co-directing the Civil Rights Clinic at Howard University School of Law, where he supervised litigation against systemic injustice.
- Academia: Teaching law and politics at the university level.
